The internship will begin in May and last 12 weeks. The position will be hybrid with the expectation you'll be in person at least 3 days a week. **Responsibilities:** + Assist in coding, testing, and debugging new software or making enhancements to existing software and suggest solutions for problems or software enhancements + Assist in writing, modifying, and debugging software for client applications and writes programs according to specifications from higher-level personnel + Assist in developing the critical components of the solution, including but not limited to, security, rules infrastructure, custom adapter implementation, and application interfaces + Use source debuggers and visual development environments + Profile, analyze, and optimize the software + Employ best practices for design, development, unit testing and test plan development and develop software user manuals + Participate in team meetings, including daily standups and Scrum meetings **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Software Engineering or related field + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future + Familiarity with Web Development Technologies such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, Groovy, Grails, Angular + Familiarity with Backend Development Technologies such as Python and Java + Familiarity with hardware or software tools at an appropriate academic level _Desired:_ + Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred but not required + Previous internship/co-op or other work experience + Participation in professional/community/extracurricular activities - **________________________________________________________________________________________** **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
