As a Software Developer Intern supporting PSS Technology Manila’s DeltaV Software Development group, you will gain hands-on experience developing innovative tools, exploring emerging technologies, and contributing to software components across the full stack. You will participate in real-world engineering projects—from prototyping utilities and experimenting with new architectures to building libraries, APIs, and user-facing features. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Designing and developing developer-focused tools that improve productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance collaboration.
+ Exploring and evaluating emerging technologies, frameworks, and AI‑powered solutions that modernize the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
+ Prototyping and implementing utilities for code analysis, requirement validation, and workflow automation using AI and modern engineering approaches.
+ Researching and experimenting with new software design patterns, architectures, and best practices that support scalable, maintainable solutions.
+ Contributing to the development of libraries, APIs, and user-facing features across different layers of the software stack.
+ Collaborating with developers to address real-world engineering challenges and participating in design discussions, code reviews, and technical explorations.

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
+ Ability to commit to a minimum of 480 hours; both required and voluntary interns are welcome.
+ Exposure to artificial intelligence concepts through coursework, academic research, or project experience.
+ Basic programming skills in Python or C#, along with familiarity in Git and foundational software development coursework.
+ Strong interest in AI, systems engineering, and modern software development practices.
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ Experience working with REST APIs or JSON processing using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
+ Exposure to modern web frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Angular, or similar.
+ Strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
