**Position Summary**
Meritain is dedicated to advocating for healthier living by offering flexible, cost-effective healthcare solutions and compassionate support to empower members in managing their health. By working with our business partners, you will be expected to define system objectives, develop technical specifications, and handle all phases of application and systems programming to address complex problems efficiently.
**What you'll do**
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze workflows, gather user requirements, and enhance application functionality.
+ Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using PICK Basic, supporting both new initiatives and ongoing system improvements.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve application issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
+ Provide technical support to end users and contribute to cross-functional initiatives as needed.
+ Apply programming expertise to build efficient, scalable, and reliable digital solutions aligned with project goals.
+ Work closely with stakeholders to define system infrastructure and ensure alignment with business needs.
+ Conduct unit testing, participate in code reviews, and engage in debugging to ensure software quality and stability.
+ Participate in Agile (SAFE) ceremonies and other development methodologies, contributing to project planning, tracking, and team collaboration.
**Required Qualifications**
+ 3+ years’ experience in application program development
+ Experience with application development support software packages.
+ Experience in an Agile Environment
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Experience setting up and using automated testing
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 3+ years experience in systems analysis Universe or UniData.
+ Expertise in PICK Basic, wIntegrate, and/or Unix and the systems development life cycle, applicable to development organization.
+ Previous Healthcare and/or TPA experience.
**Education**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$72,100.00 - $144,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
