We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer with a focus on developing complex systems in C++, to work onsite in Fort Wayne, IN as part of the Zumwalt Software Development Team. What You Will Do: Be part of a successful team creating high-performance applications and be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle. + Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for a cutting-edge Navy Destroyer Platform. + Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment. + Functional analysis of real world and test data + Collaboration with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter. What You Will Learn: + A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures. + Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques. + Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects. Qualifications You Must Have: + Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) + At least 2 years of relevant software engineering experience. + Experience developing software using C++. + Active and transferrable final **Secret U.S. government issued security clearance** is required prior to start date. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
