Our client, a leading technology ecommerce company, is seeking a Software Development Engineer I (C/C++) to join their team. As a Software Development Engineer I, you will be part of the Hardware Product Integrity group supporting the Content Platform team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, superior verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Software Development Engineer I - C/C+ **Location:** Sunnyvale, CA
**Pay Range:** $54 per hour on Experis W2
*Not open to C2C
**Contract:** 3 month contract
**What's the Job?**
+ Develop monitoring solutions and troubleshoot/debug production software application issues.
+ Implement fixes for internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, Java) and perform SQL queries.
+ Improve systems that gather metrics on features and enhance current software.
+ Automate support processes and document systems effectively.
+ Collaborate with development teams on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects.
**What's Needed?**
+ A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.
+ 2-5 years of relevant experience in software development.
+ Proficiency in C/C++, with experience in software development on Linux.
+ Familiarity with GIT version control.
+ Preferred coding skills in Perl, Java, and knowledge of Oracle SQL, HTML, UNIX/LINUX.
