Your Impact

Join our diverse Cisco IOS XR team and become a key player in shaping the future of software development. This role offers the chance to thrive in a dynamic, start-up-like environment, engaging in architecture design and software development across global teams. There will be opportunities to develop CICD pipelines, new features, build fully automated tests, and ensure our software meets the highest standards of quality.

The position involves exploring exciting areas such as Routing Infrastructure, AIML and Development of quality pipelines. Curiosity and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to learn quickly and a strong sense of responsibility. Tackling new challenges with attention to detail and a focus on quality is central to this role, offering the chance to create a significant impact every day. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's in a STEM field with 4 years of experience, or a Master's with 2 yearsExperience in Python programming and Python automationExperience in software best practices (data structures, patterns, algorithms) and CI/CD based environments with exposure to Git, Jenkins, 3rd-Party Open-Source Test FrameworksExperience with Linux/Unix development environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience and understanding of DevOps rolesExperience with VSCode and MS CopilotBasic understanding of routers and networking technologies, TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, routing protocols, or experience in building topologies involving networking equipment.Cisco Certifications are a plus (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE)Experience with open-source python test technologies, PyTest, Netmiko, Paramiko, Textfsm or python frontend toolsets (eg Streamlit , Flask)Familiarity with Virtualization (QEMU, ESXi, AWS, OpenStack) or Linux Containerization technologies
