This opportunity is for the Adoptium team which delivers builds of OpenJDK, powering our internal and external Java users worldwide. **Your role and responsibilities** * Collaborative Development: Work closely with the OpenJDK and Adoptium communities, internal and external to IBM, to deliver builds of OpenJDK. * Infrastructure Planning and Execution: Sustain and grow infrastructure capabilities to ensure timely delivery of our products * Automation Integration: Implement and integrate infrastructure automation into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline release processes and enhance efficiency. * Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, with the ability to tackle complex issues and find effective solutions. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Demonstrated strong understanding of release management processes, effectively planning and delivering on releases with tight SLAs * Familiarity with project management tools and proven experience working with Linux or Unix-based operating systems to facilitate efficient project execution. * Proficiency in container technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift, coupled with expertise in automation and integration processes utilizing tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
