Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced C++ Software Engineer with 5–10 years of professional development experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in C++ programming and a working familiarity with Linux-based systems, particularly in relation to device and driver interactions. Experience within Department of Defense (DoD) environments is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture.Work within DoD-compliant development environments, adhering to security and documentation standards.Interface with hardware through Linux device drivers and kernel modules (basic familiarity required).Debug and optimize code for performance and reliability.Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
5-10 years of experience in C++ programming.Experience with devices and drivers in a Linux environment.Familiarity with device driver management.Experience working in Department of Defense (DoD) environments.Basic familiarity with interfacing hardware through Linux device drivers and kernel modules.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
