**Software Development Engineer – C++ (Cambridge, MA)**
Develop rich mobile, desktop, and embedded clients that deliver AR‑enabled, real‑time collaboration in an agile software development environment. In this critical role, you will serve as a strong individual contributor, working cross‑functionally to build an extensible platform that enables collaboration and drives new synergies across Philips and its customers.
**Your role:**
+ Deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable production-ready software solutions while ensuring code is deployment-ready. Support deployed code and address issues as they arise.
+ Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify priorities and requirements. Clearly articulate technical tradeoffs and decision rationales.
+ Implement and promote software development best practices across the team. Advocate for continuous improvements in technical product quality.
+ Participate in SAFe activities, contributing to estimation, planning, and risk management. Ensure alignment with Agile processes and delivery expectations.
+ Design UI workflows and components in a standardized, efficient manner. Develop thorough unit tests and review the implementation quality of others.
**You're the right fit if:**
+ You have 2+ years of experience developing mission critical windows-based applications, preferably in a regulated environment.
+ You earned a BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
+ You have a solid background in C++ / Multithreaded development along with a strong understanding of CI/CD, continuous delivery and Dev Ops best practices.
+ You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
**How we work together:**
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

**Philips Transparency Details:**
The pay range for this position in MA is $$99,000 to $158,000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
