Key job responsibilities

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our team and participate in the full life cycle of AWS services — from requirements definition and software design through implementation and operational ownership. They must have a sound understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, and experience building large-scale distributed systems. We're looking for someone who enjoys working on complex systems and feels strongly about implement solutions that exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will also need a forward-looking attitude, staying aware of the latest technology trends.

In this role, you'll actively participate in product definition, technical architecture review, iterative development, and code review. You'll develop automation testing to verify functionality as part of our CI/CD pipeline and provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of scalable and robust solutions. You will regularly collaborate with fellow engineers. You will utilize your strong verbal and written skills to communicate with stakeholders. Operational excellence is key, so you'll also participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
