Your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of innovative features, fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for optimal performance, and guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you’ll be working closely with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to ensure our software aligns seamlessly with user expectations. **Required technical and professional expertise** Software Development Expertise: * Background in software development/testing, demonstrating expertise in programming languages such as Java. Cloud Technology Proficiency: * Basic knowledge of cloud-based technologies, showcasing some familiarity with modern cloud ecosystems and concepts used in them. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: * Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving and debugging, with the ability to tackle complex issues and find effective solutions. Willingness to learn and improve. Software Testing Expertise: * Experience/knowledge in developing comprehensive test plans and executing test cases to ensure software products meet quality standards and requirements. Automation Integration: * Interest/knowledge in implementing and integrating test automation into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Proficiency with Java, optionally even Java EE/Jakarta EE experience - or experience with a similar framework, like Spring. Knowledge of JUnit, Maven, Git, Jenkins, and other commonly used Java libraries, including knowledge of Java internals. * Familiarity with cloud and container technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, etc. * Groovy, Python, and scripting in Linux, and Unix environments, Windows PS will also be useful.
