We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer with a passion for building robust, scalable web applications. You will play a vital role in developing and launching high-performing, user-friendly solutions that support the future of Talent Management technology. Key Responsibilities & Tasks 

Responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team. Ability to analyze and solve issues in existing and new code.  Demonstrates full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrates a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency.  Works closely together with other team members to ensure the team success. Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team.  Has proficient overall product knowledge and shares domain expertise within team. Develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern frameworks and technologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable system architectures Translate product requirements into technical specifications Write efficient, secure, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes

The Scrum Master is responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. Scrum Master is a 'servant-leader' for the Product Owner and the Development Team Facilitates Scrum Events on request or as required Coaches the Development Team in self-organization Removes impediments to the Development Team's progress  

Education and Occupational Experience 

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 
 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience 

Backend Development Strong foundation in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, JSP, and Servlets Experience with RESTful APIs, ODATA, SOAP, and microservices architecture Familiarity with PL/SQL and relational database principles (MS SQL Server, HANA) Exposure to Apache Solr, Elastic Search, Ehcache 

Front-End Development 

Solid skills in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, and UI5 Ability to build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces Software Engineering Principles Proficient in object-oriented design, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns Experience using UML for system modeling and analysis 

Testing & Performance 

Strong experience with unit testing using JUnit and mocking frameworks Familiar with automation of end-to-end tests Exposure to performance testing tools like LoadRunner and JMeter Understanding of QA workflows, testing tools, and environment isolation. Familiarity with log analysis tools such as Splunk for basic issue investigation and monitoring. 

DevOps & Tooling

Basic understanding of Ansible- playbooks, roles, inventory files 
Exposure to Chef- writing or modifying recipes and using cookbooks 
Familiarity with managing Linux-based systems and environments Hands-on with Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines Experience working in Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEs Familiar with deploying and debugging on Tomcat and JVM-based environments 

AI-Assisted Developmen

 Exposure to AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot to boost productivity, accelerate learning, and support rapid prototyping. Familiar with using Copilot to generate code snippets, suggest completions, and understand unfamiliar code patterns.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 103300 - 218,600(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
