The Financial Planning team within Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS) Technology builds the platform and experiences
that help clients plan for their financial futures. Our platform is at the center of both rep-led and self-directed client
experiences geared toward creating a lifelong relationship with the clients that meets them at every point of their
financial journey.
We are looking for a engineer to join a newly forming agile delivery team. As a lifelong learner, you will bring
your experience in building and testing applications. In this role you will enhance and extend the core financial
planning platform to create new solutions that empower our clients. You will work in an iterative delivery team
building with frequent releases, building toward continuous delivery.
What you haveBachelor's degree or advanced degrees in Computer Science or related field5+ years of experience with frameworks such as Java, Java Core, Spring, SpringbootStrong Java backend experiences including designing highly fault tolerant and scalable systems Experience in front end development using Angular and JavaScript; willingness to learn, requiredStrong relational database experienceExperience developing/managing REST and SOAP-based Web Service API(s) in a transaction processing environmentCurious about new technologies and processes. You always seek to improve yourself and everyone around you and proactively seek and share knowledge with others outside of your organizationAbility to translate requirements into designs2 + years experience working with building automated test toolsProfessional experience with source code repository tools, such as Bitbucket or GitHubStrong communication skills – you balance written and verbal communication to clearly share your perspective with others on the teamExperience working in an Agile team
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on working knowledge of Kafka streams in building messaging and services-based software is preferredPCF experience is a plus. GCP experience is a huge plusExperience in Financial ServicesHands on experience with application and service development using C# and .Net frameworks (ASP.NET, .Net Core)In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
