Your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of innovative features, fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for optimal performance, and guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you’ll be working closely with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to ensure our software aligns seamlessly with user expectations. **Required technical and professional expertise** * At least three years of proven commercial experience with backend Java development * Good knowledge of Linux/UNIX inlcuding shell scripting * Experience in Cloud native microservices and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift and Docker * Experience in CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, Tekton, SPS and working with version control systems like GitHub * Good verbal and written English with strong collaboration, analytical and troubleshooting skills **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with relational and NoSQL databases * Experience with cloud service providers like AWS or Azure * Understanding of data transforamtion and data processing pipelines (ETL, ELT, EL) * Understanding of secure software design and development principles IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
