**Description** SAIC is seeking a Software Developer. This role is 100% remote. **RESPONSIBILITIES** (include, but not limited to) **:** + Ensure PRIDE Mod application is properly configured and documented to enable, sustain and maintain interfaces with external commands and systems + Analyze system for efficiencies + Test and implement new technologies following standardized test and implementation procedures + Review existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques + Test changes for usability prior to deployment to the test environment + Provide research, analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, and deployment of modifications + Implement policies and procedures to track server trends. Monitor trends to help prevent systems outages + Work as a leader or member of a team + Be responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation **Qualifications** **REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS:** + Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; 7 (seven) years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted **CLEARANCE:** + U.S. citizen. None to start, ability to obtain Secret clearance + Prior to the hire date, the candidate must possess the following Information Security certification at minimum + CompTIA Sec + certified **REQUIRED SKILLS:** This position requires a self-motivated, professional individual with demonstrated experience in designing and developing .NET applications, including: + Understanding of the software development lifecycle, strong analysis skills, experience in designing, developing, implementing testing .NET based applications + Demonstrated knowledge in working on an IT team implementing major software releases using SCRUM Agile methodology + Proficiency in .NET development, specifically C#, ASP.NET, .Net Core, WCF Services + Familiarity with web services, XML, XSLT, JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery and Telerik, and other related technologies + Strong understanding of SOA and EAI design patterns + Experience with SQL Server and related database technologies + Ability to understand and work with complex business requirements + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Experience with other integration tools and platforms is a plus **DESIRED SKILLS:** + Visual Studio 2015 - 2022 + Business Objects reporting + Experience in GUI design + Experience in implementing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) via the web + Experience in BizTalk Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000.
