Job Description

We are seeking a talented Software Developer with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Power BI.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement software solutions with a focus on Power BI.Utilize SQL, DAX, and Power Query for data analysis and visualization.Collaborate in manufacturing environments, especially in aerospace, defense, or engine production.Integrate ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES platforms, and industrial data sources.Design data models and perform ETL processes and API integrations.Solve complex problems independently or as part of a team.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.3+ years of experience in software development, particularly with Power BI.Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Power Query.Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably aerospace or defense.Familiarity with ERP systems, MES platforms, and industrial data sources.Additional Skills & QualificationsExpertise in MS Office Applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Qliksense, Python, Tableau.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for managing big data.Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Industry 4.0 principles.Familiarity with PLM systems, CAD data, or engineering BOMs.Work Environment

This role offers a long-term contract opportunity with potential to transition into a full-time position. You will be part of the foundational team building data analytics for operations. The work schedule is on-site with a 4/10 schedule, providing an immersive experience within aerospace and defense sectors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
