Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires:

Modern programming language such as Java, C++, C#, Python; Design patterns and SOLID principles; Writing well-modularized, maintainable software; Software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations; Operations processes and DevOps technologies such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Maven; Modern web applications from database to user interface; Micro-services architecture and RESTful APIs; Building and maintaining large scalable enterprise applications, distributed systems, and cloud-based platforms; Technologies and design concepts around Big Data Processing and Relational Databases such as: ETL, Hadoop Ecosystem, structured data, SQL schemas and queries; Big data processing tools such as Spark, Hive, Presto; and Communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts.
