The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled Software Data Modeler supporting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program. The successful candidate will be an experienced and detail-oriented Data Modeler that will be assigned specific software publishers and products to actively model license compliance position with the goal of maximizing software investment, adhering to license terms and responding to audits as part of an enterprise software asset management team. As a CACI Software Data Modeler, you will play a pivotal role in creating, maintaining, and improving software models to document the software types, versions, installations and usage within the environment. The Software Data Modeler will collaborate extensively within the DAF and external vendors to gather comprehensive information on software purchases, license agreements, and contract terms then model the information within the software asset management solution. The data modeler will then analyze the results of the modeling to identify under-utilized licenses, identify opportunities to maximize DAF investment in the software and identify potential gaps in information then share insight and recommendations with the enterprise software asset management team.
Responsibilities:
Software Modeling and Management: Model software licenses, entitlements, and usage data for assigned publishers and products within the software asset management solution, adhering to best practices and the DAF software policies and procedures DAF Client Collaboration: Proactively collaborate with the DAF to understand their software landscape, installation details, licensing requirements, and specific needs related to the assigned software publishers and products Licensing Expertise: Stay current on licensing models, product changes, and industry best practices for assigned publishers, with a focus on how these changes impact the DAF client's software portfolio Data Accuracy and Integrity: Troubleshoot data discrepancies and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of software purchase and usage data SAM Work Instruction Development: Develop and maintain work instructions specifically tailored for the assigned publishers and products to document the steps necessary to maintain an accurate license compliance position Reporting and Analysis: Assist in generating and analyzing reports on software compliance, usage, and optimization opportunities for assigned publishers, providing actionable insights Audit Support: Providing evidence and artifacts related to purchases and usage in response to audit requests License Remediation: Analyze, identify opportunities and make recommendations to maximize license usage and minimize spend for assigned publishers and products Project Contribution: Actively participate in project meetings, providing updates on modeling progress, identifying potential challenges, and contributing to the overall success of the projectQualifications:

The proposed salary range for this position is:
