Overview: Automation / Software Engineers play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of production systems. They combine the skills of pragmatic operators with those of software craftspeople, applying sound engineering principles, operational discipline, and advanced automation techniques to P&G's operating environments and codebase.

Key Responsibilities:

Enhance Observability: Develop and implement innovative methods and tools to improve the monitoring and self-healing capabilities of our Engineering PLM platform.Operational Ownership: Lead Request Fulfillment initiatives, focusing on transforming processes to enhance user experience and increase automation.Drive Continuous Operations: Utilize cutting-edge technologies such as AI, cloud services, and automation to advance continuous operations. Design and build necessary applications and tools to support these efforts.

Job Qualifications

Studies: A Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Informatics, Engineering or related STEM field;

Collaborative Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with IT operations managers, platform engineers, product owners, and vendor teams to proactively identify and resolve operational issues, while streamlining and transforming work processes through use of automation and new technologies.Methodologies: Understanding of ITIL, SRE, and DevOps methodologies and tools.Technical knowledge / exposure:  Exposure or previous experience in Siemens Teamcenter or similar Engineering/Design PLM platforms, Azure Cloud, Grafana, Prometheus, Linux and Windows Operating Systems, and/or ServiceNow would be a bonus. Ability to develop custom tools and solutions using P&G tool suites.Fluent in English
