Local Pay Rate: $50HR

About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate SchoolSocial Worker (SSW) to join a collaborative PreK–8th grade environment.This role focuses on supporting students with Autism, behavioral, sensory, andcommunication needs—including those who are non-verbal and use AAC devices.You’ll provide essential social-emotional and psychological services to helpstudents thrive academically and socially.
Caseload Details
+ Approximately 35 students
+ PreK–8th grade
+ Focus on Autism, behavior, sensory processing, and communication needs
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs/IHPs
+ Provide direct and consultative services to students and staff
+ Support students with social-emotional and behavioral needs
+ Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state standards
Minimum Requirements
+ Holds a Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
+ IL LCSW or LSW OR IL Psychologist license
+ Prior school-based experience required
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
