Job Description:

As a Social Services Aide, you would be responsible for working with residents inside of facility, while working with them towards long term goals, daily living activities and program needs.

Responsibilities:

Assist individuals in a structured environment with support and therapeutic activities.Transport and accompany individuals at off-site programs, activities or appointments as needed.Document accomplishments and goals from daily objectives provided during treatment and/or behavior plans.Report and document all emergency incidents.Ensure general safety of all individuals.Maintain individual information confidential.Ensure all surroundings are free from hazards.Must have a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one.

Education: High School

High School Diploma or GEDHas 12 semester hours of college training in mental health or related fieldAct 33/34 ClearancesState Police Motorist's ClearanceBondable

Experience: 6 months

6 months of formal training in mental health or a related field
