Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Social Media & Student Engagement Coordinator to join our team in Vancouver, Canada. Managing the social engagement for multiple accounts such as Little Flower Academy, Glenlyon Norfolk School, West Point Grey Academy, Telus and more. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance student engagement and promote our institution's programs and events. This job requires travel, as there will be multiple accounts to manage.
Develop and manage social media content across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) to increase student engagement and brand awarenessCreate and curate engaging, relevant content that resonates with our student audiencePlan, coordinate, and execute student engagement events, both virtual and in-personCollaborate with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all social media channelsMonitor social media trends and best practices to stay ahead of the curve in student engagement strategiesAnalyze social media metrics and prepare regular reports on engagement, reach, and other key performance indicatorsRespond to student inquiries and comments on social media platforms in a timely and professional mannerDevelop and maintain relationships with student organizations and campus influencersAssist in the creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns to support student recruitment and retention effortsManage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met for all social media and engagement initiativesQualifications2-3 years of experience in social media management or student engagement roles, preferably in higher educationProven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiencesProficiency in social media management tools and analytics platformsStrong creative skills with experience in content creation and graphic designDemonstrated ability to plan and execute engaging events for student populationsAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisionsExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with digital marketing strategies and campaignsKnowledge of current trends in higher education and student engagement practicesAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentFamiliarity with the Vancouver, Canada higher education landscape is a plusMUST have access to a vehicleAdditional InformationMust have vehicle.
