Here’s your chance to join our award-winning agency, ICF Next. We’re searching for our next Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to support and local government clients. We are seeking a dynamic professional to support the planning, execution, and optimization of our marketing and social media strategies. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about storytelling, audience engagement, and data-driven marketing.
The Social Media and Marketing Coordinator at ICF Next will play a key role in executing integrated marketing strategies that elevate brand presence and drive engagement across multiple platforms. This individual will manage day-to-day social media activities, support the development of marketing campaigns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling content and collateral. With a strong focus on storytelling, analytics, and audience engagement, the coordinator will help ensure that all marketing efforts align with business objectives and reflect the innovative, mission-driven spirit of ICF Next.
The position is based in the Raleigh, NC area and requires on-site work at the client office in Morrisville, NC at least four days a week.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Develop, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
+ Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to comments/messages in a timely, brand-appropriate manner.
+ Assist in the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including email, digital ads, and content marketing.
+ Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to develop compelling visuals and messaging.
+ Manage and lead client meetings with senior leadership and clients.
+ Track and report on key performance metrics using tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or native analytics.
+ Utilize market research data to inform content strategy.
+ Support internal communications and employee advocacy initiatives.
+ Maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
+ Assist in the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to support client and internal initiatives
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with sales and outreach goals.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
+ 3+ years of experience in social media management and digital marketing.
+ Ability to travel to client sites to capture content.
+ 3+ years of experience creating social media graphics and videos in Canva (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus)!
**Professional Skills:**
+ Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
+ Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
+ Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
+ Knowledge of marketing analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
+ Experience working within social media platforms, like Sprout.
+ Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
+ Responsive and open to feedback.
+ Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
+ Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.
+ Creative thinker with innovative approach to problem solving.
**Preferred Skills**
+ Experience in agency or client-facing roles.
+ Knowledge of paid social media advertising.
+ Understanding of SEO and content marketing principles.
+ Passion for social impact and mission-driven work.

**Pay Range** - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$60,927.00 - $103,576.00
