We’re looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team onsite at a prestigious European institution. If you thrive in dynamic environments, love translating complex policy into engaging content, and have a knack for building online communities, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

Create and curate daily content across multiple platforms, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.Write press releases and monitor news related to international partnerships and development cooperation.Design and implement social media strategies in close collaboration with web, audiovisual, and graphic design teams.Engage with influencers, journalists, and content creators to amplify key messages and achievements.Manage online communities and participate in relevant conversations.Analyse trends and performance, using analytics tools to uncover actionable insights.Report on KPIs for both paid and organic campaigns, and evaluate impact.Support high-level communications, including collaboration with the Commissioner’s Cabinet.

Requirements:

Proven experience in political communication and media relations.2+ years of relevant experience for the roleEnglish C2 levelStrong understanding of EU international partnerships and development cooperation.Ability to translate policy language into accessible, engaging content.Creativity backed by examples of original strategies or content.Proficiency in social analytics tools, Meta Business Suite, and SEO.Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in content strategy.Excellent writing, research, and reporting skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
