Are you ready to spearhead social commerce strategies for one of our billion-dollar brands? As the Social Commerce Manager, you will identify and capitalize on business opportunities while collaborating with a multi-functional team to develop cohesive commercial plans. Your role will focus on leading initiatives that leverage social media platforms, e-Commerce, and digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive sales. You'll be expected to work closely with various subject matter experts to deliver comprehensive strategies that address consumer needs and shopping behaviors.
Your Team
Collaboration will be key, as you will work extensively with colleagues from multi-functional team, Sales, Brand, Finance, and Media teams.
What Success Looks Like
1. Achieve Business Targets
Drive our Scorecard, aiming for a Social Commerce revenue growth over the next few years with clear annual milestones (e.g., Year 1: 3×; Year 2: 5-7×; Year 3: 10×).
Meeting Scorecard Metrics: Ensure we meet key metrics, including penetration rates and new customer acquisitions, to foster sustainable growth.
Optimizing Channel Economics: Cultivate a positive and scalable P&L with guidelines on spending, take rates, and promotional ROI.
2. Building a Continuous Growth Engine: Implement strategies that integrate live-ops, creators, affiliates, UGC, and performance loops for sustained monthly growth.
3. Driving Category Growth: Lead initiatives to enhance market penetration and attract new users through innovative social commerce strategies.
4. Creating Tailored Marketing Toolkits: Design effective marketing toolkits for social commerce channels, ensuring organizational enablement is embraced by brand squads and customer teams.
Responsibilities of the Role
Social Commerce Strategy: Own the Integrated Social Commerce Plan, developing and executing strategies that align with key projects and initiatives to drive brand growth and profitability. Manage P&L investment decisions to optimize returns.
Digital Transformation: Develop and implement an integrated digital action plan focusing on social media engagement, eCRM, digital advertising (including personalization and retargeting), search, and eCommerce initiatives.
Consumer Insights: Identify and analyze consumers’ needs and preferences for P&G’s products, providing actionable insights to the Research & Development and technical teams to design appealing packages and formulas that resonate with local consumers.
Research Leadership: Lead consumer research initiatives to create compelling brand concepts and claims that address unmet consumer needs, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
Creative Collaboration: Work with agencies to develop culturally relevant communication ideas and execute tailored content for various social media platforms.
Toolkit Development: Create fit-for-purpose toolkits that include copy, digital banners, social media content, eCommerce materials, sampling trials, and in-store activation strategies.
Promotion and Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with local teams to formulate effective promotion and pricing strategies, along with customer and distributor trade terms.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor or Master's Degree in a business-related field.
3-5 years of experience managing or growing TikTok with background in brand management, digital media, consulting or consumer journey design, preferably in FMCG, beauty or home care
Demonstrated success in designing and executing strategies that deliver substantial business impact beyond just managing a single channel.
Comprehensive understanding of platform's algorithm, SEO, paid advertising, and commerce integrations. Proven experience in managing creators, budgets, and paid collaborations effectively.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovation and brand growth.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment.
A forward-thinking approach with a passion for utilizing social media and digital marketing to strengthen brand presence and enhance consumer engagement.
Comfortable with rapid experimentation, embracing new ideas and strategies to drive results.
