Support the development of our next-generation consumer product platforms that will provide breakthrough simulated reality user experiences. 2. Lead Facebook’s efforts to design/architect the hardware platforms for this activity and will be part of a team that includes electrical, mechanical, optical, firmware, software and ASIC experts. 3. Understand the full stack from algorithms and architecture down to drawing polygons. 4. Appreciate DFT/DFM and will ensure that custom silicon does not dominate COGs in the final products. 5. Have experience in overseeing a small silicon team. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 6. Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Sciences, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation 7. Microprocessor and memory architectures 11. 4. Knowledge of industry trends and disruptive technologies 12. 5. Knowledge of methods for partitioning a solution across hardware and software, analogue and digital, and other multi-disciplinary boundaries in a system solution 13. 6. Experience with SOCs, display engineering, Verilog/FPGAs, uControllers, and firmware 14. 7. Experience with high speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, MIPI 15. 8. Analyzing cache coherency protocols and architectures 16. 9. Experience as a team lead or manager 17. 10. Circuit design experience in: high speed digital and/or analog circuits, AND 18. 11.
