As the Technical Product Manager (PMT) for the Gifting team, you will play a vital role improving the customer experience for millions of customers worldwide. You will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of a complex, cross-functional product that spans the entire shopping experience, from finding the right gift to purchase, delivery, and returns.
You will focus on addressing key customer problems in the gifting space, such as more convenient buying and sending experience, and the ability to create the perfect gifting moment.

A successful candidate will have a strong sense of ownership, great judgement, be highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into products that customers love. The ideal candidate for this role will be customer-obsessed with the capability to dive in and learn new technologies fast and who is comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; will be a creative and an analytical problem solver.


Key job responsibilities
You will lead, design, and implement new products that make purchasing and receiving a gift from Amazon a delightful experience. You will play a key role in defining customer experience, roadmap and opportunities to scale, working closely with software engineers, applied scientists, UX research and design, business stakeholders and partner teams, and scaling learnings across the teams at Amazon.

A day in the life
The duties will include working on the initial product definition, getting buy-in, and translating that vision into actionable, measurable experimentation and launch roadmap. You will develop and drive requirements back to engineering and applied science teams and partner with them to deliver exceptional products. Expect to be in charge of new projects and initiatives, developing new products, managing business and technical requirements, driving performance, and help building plans for the future. We need someone who is eager to grow with us and is passionate about driving clarity in highly ambiguous product and technical environments, and has a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
