Job Title: Senior Control System Engineer
Location: Qatar

Primary Purpose:
Responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity, availability, and performance of control systems including DCS, ESD, SCADA, PLC, and turbine/compressor control systems. Provide engineering support, review technical documents, and oversee system upgrades and cybersecurity compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and apply engineering methods for control systems. Provide specialist support, failure analysis, and corrective actions. Review vendor/contractor documents and attend FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities. Manage system upgrades, cybersecurity, and long-term maintenance contracts. Ensure compliance with international standards and safety codes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline. 15+ years of experience in oil & gas, with at least 10 years in similar roles. Strong knowledge of control systems and industrial automation.
