SMT Set Up Operator
**Job Title: SMT Set Up Operator (Grave Shift 11pm-6:30am)** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled SMT Set Up Operator to join our team on the grave shift (11pm-6:30am with overtime as business needs). The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience operating SMT equipment and conducting daily machine maintenance. They will be responsible for ensuring the quality of solder printing, SPI, chip shooter, and reflow operations. **Responsibilities** + Operate and maintain SMT equipment, ensuring daily machine maintenance and conducting Change Over processes. + Manage SMT machine operations for solder printing, SPI, chip shooter, and reflow. + Measure solder paste height and record data in SPC, ensuring quality checks after solder paste printing. + Set up feeders, replace or exchange components, and verify documentation. + Hand load special SMT components as required before reflow, documenting the process. + Control output by managing SMT task times and adhering to procedures. + Report any quality issues to team lead and supervisor immediately. + Examine circuit boards to detect defects such as shorts, excess or missing solder, scratches, and cracks. + Conduct inspections for assemblies and verify conformance to specified dimensions. + Approve materials at inspection for all products, maintaining quality standards. + Record defects and use essential tools and equipment effectively. + Read and interpret assembly drawings, product-specific documentation, and work instructions. + Follow company policies on 6S and maintain discipline in the working area. + Participate in lean manufacturing and efficiency improvement projects. **Essential Skills** + Experience with SMT equipment and operations. + Ability to perform soldering and surface mount technology tasks. + Proficiency in using essential tools and equipment. + Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions. + Understanding of MPI and BOM, basic electronics component values, and packages. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Attention to detail. + Autonomy and sense of responsibility. + Integrity in data management. + Teamwork skills. + Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards. + Experience with Fuji CP/IP/XPF/NXT operations. + Knowledge of IPC-610 standards. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a long-term opportunity for growth and development within a supportive work environment that values teamwork and efficiency. **Work Environment** The work environment is centered around PCB manufacturing with a strong emphasis on ESD safety.
