SMT Set Up Operator ($25-$30/hr.)
**Job Title: SMT Set Up Operator** **Job Description** We are looking for skilled SMT Set Up Operators to join our team on the (2) day and (1) graveyard shift **Responsibilities** + Operate SMT equipment and perform daily maintenance. + Manage the SMT machine operation for solder printing, SPI, chip shooting, and reflow. + Measure solder paste height and record data in SPC. + Conduct quality checks after solder paste printing. + Set up and replace SMT components, verifying and documenting as necessary. + Hand load special SMT components and document them before reflow (optional). + Control output by managing SMT task time and adhering to all required procedures. + Report any quality issues to the team lead and supervisor immediately. + Understand all MPI and BOM, including basic electronic component values and packages. + Follow company policies on 6S and maintain discipline in the working area. + Examine circuit boards for defects such as shorts, excess or missing solder, scratches, cracks, and improper component placement. + Conduct 5S and discipline in setup areas. + Participate in lean manufacturing and efficiency improvement projects. + Maintain quality standards by approving materials at inspection for all products. + Perform inspections on assemblies and verify conformance to specified dimensions. + Record any detected defects. + Utilize essential tools and equipment effectively. + Read and interpret assembly drawings, product-specific documentation, and work instructions. **Essential Skills** + Experience with soldering and SMT technology. + Proficiency in SMT operations, including surface mount technology. + Ability to use essential tools and equipment. + Capability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Attention to detail and precision in work. + Ability to work autonomously and responsibly. + Integrity in data handling. + Strong teamwork skills. + Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards. + Experience with Fuji CP/IP/XPF/NXT operations. + Knowledge of IPC-610 standards. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that offers long-term opportunities and values its employees.
