Smt Operator
**Employment Type:** Monday-Friday 7am to 4pm **About the Role** We are seeking a skilled SMT Operator to join our electronics manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment to assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to production specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and ESD protocols. **Key Responsibilities** + Operate SMT equipment including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and screen printers + Diagnosing and resolving machine errors, component misplacements, and production interruptions + Inspect solder paste application, component placement, and reflow profiles to ensure quality + Perform first article inspections and verify compliance with IPC-A-610 standards + Maintain accurate production records and follow established work instructions + Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality goals **Qualifications** + Previous experience operating SMT equipment in a manufacturing environment + Knowledge of PCB assembly processes and IPC-A-610 standards + Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude + Ability to work with precision and attention to detail + Familiarity with ESD safety protocols + Basic computer literacy for machine operation and reporting **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Sarasota, FL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
