Help drive the safety culture through SMS Safety Assurance, including audits, evaluations, and investigations to ensure process functional effectiveness\. This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with employees at all levels\. You’ll be able to have a direct impact on the world of aviation safety\. **What you’ll be doing as the SMS Safety Assurance Lead** + Manage global SMS audit program against ICAO, TCCA, EASA, FAA, DoD and DCMA standards + Oversee Corrective Action Management \(CAR\) + Prepare trend analysis for Safety Review Board \(SRB\) and leadership + Lead safety performance monitoring program + Oversee investigation standards, tools, and training + Validate effectiveness of risk mitigations through monitoring and follow\-up + Coordinate supplier product safety audits + Maintain any SMS policy and procedure related to Safety Assurance **Qualifications** **Skills You Bring To this Role** * Bachelor’s degree with a Major in Aviation Safety, Engineering, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety or similar discipline\. Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience\. * At least 5 years working with aviation safety, product safety or quality programs\. * Experience working with regulations and standards, auditing to the same, identifying and conducting Root Cause analysis, identifying Corrective Actions, monitoring effectiveness\.
