The applicant will be required to perform scheduling migration services with IBM Z Workload Scheduler and demonstrate problem solving skills in replacing competitive scheduling products. The position requires a person with excellent communication skills and competitive scheduling migration experience is a plus. The candidate will require IBM Z Workload Scheduler experience. The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of IBM Z Workload Scheduling databases and monitoring the workload via ISPF and the Dynamic Workload Console. The candidate will be required to investigate and analyze information to draw conclusions regarding migration paths and activities as well as the ability to write and maintain documentation. The position requires to work as a team member with internal employees, project managers, contractors and customer employees. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Experience with other Mainframe schedule packages (CA/Broadcom Workload Automation (CA-7 or ESP edition), BMC Control-M/R, ASG Zeke/Zebb) is desired. * 5+ Years Mainframe (OS/390, z/OS) and proficient with TSO/ISPF, Job Control Language (JCL) * 5+ Years IBM Z Workload Scheduler experience * Excellent communication skills **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with migrating other Mainframe scheduling tools to IBM Z Workload Scheduler * Basic z/OS System Programming knowledge/skills * Technical pre-sales experience * System Administration scheduling experience with Open systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux) * Dynamic Workload Console navigation and installation experience * Workload Automation Programming Language experience * Project Management experience * REXX Programming experience IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
