Job Description:

As a Smokehouse Machine Operator, you will operating machinery in a meat packaging facility and performing various tasks as needed. Smokehouse Machine Operators are essential for the smoking of material to ensure the local flavor remains the same as it has been for many years!

Responsibilities:

Smokehouse Machine Operators must have the willingness and desire to learn how to operate different machinesOperation of smokehouse machinesUnloading product at the end of the cook cycleMonitor controls throughout the cook cycle to verify the machinery and meat is cooking properlyComplete checks though out the shift to ensure are regulatory requirements and quality standards are met (temperatures, cook time, etc.)Completing required paperwork that documents each process check to stay in compliance with safety proceduresFamiliarity with working in a team based environmentComplete other tasks as needed to assist other team members

Education: High School

High School Diploma or Equivalent 

Experience: 6 months
