As the Solutions Sales Manager you will lead a team responsible for transforming buildings to be digitally connected and controlled and with your strong leadership skills and passion for team building you’ll help find and hire top talent, develop employees, and promote long-term retention.

The Challenge: Drive explosive growth in a rapidly evolving market where traditional construction meets cutting-edge technology. You'll be the bridge between innovation and implementation.

As a Solution Sales Manager you will: 

Promote team selling and expansion of existing relationships and new relationships across divisions and/or geographic areas.  Actively engage and develop relationships with mechanical, electrical and general contractors within the territoryDevelop your own leads as well as support your team in growing and developing their opportunities.Act as a resource to sales employees regarding our products, applications, and services; support the sales process through all phases, including job turnover and implementation.  Communicate goals, provide mentoring to develop skills, lead employee performance, and conduct performance appraisals and coach sellers to strategically assess customer needs and identify customer buying priorities.   Review bids to ensure accuracy to meet company and customer objectives. Assist employees in setting margins, identifying resources, and assessing future business and establish executive-level relationships with targeted contractors and customers.   Network with field organization, headquarters, and other Siemens divisions to gain knowledge of offerings, share knowledge with your team and other employees and develop sales forecasts and provide input to sales targets.   Assist the sales team in identifying market opportunities; develop strategies to improve impact to the company. Participate in development of long-range sales planning and growth strategies.  Articulate and drive our digitalization strategy, remote services, and big data analytics and maintain trade contacts and participate in industry association functions.  Travel overnight 10% on average for training and business development.  

 You will make an impact with these qualifications: 

Basic Qualifications:  

High School Diploma or state-recognized GED 5+ years of sales experience Management experience in the construction industry Must be able to demonstrate: Technical proficiency in Building Automation or Fire/Life Safety industry or software salesThe ability to interpret job specifications and drawings to coach sellers in developing winning strategies Working knowledge and understanding of contracting business with tier of contractors Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills Verbal and written communication skills in English Experience with Microsoft Office suite and SalesforceMust be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering 7+ years of sales experience Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
