We are seeking a self-starter passionate about Small Business Programs to join our team. This position is for a seasoned professional in Project Management, who works independently, supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets for projects, facilitates project tasks with various functional organizations, tracks progress, identifies project problems, and recommends resolutions. This position is remote.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Serves as Small Business Liaison Officer (SBLO) on the Small Business Team, supporting all of Collins’ strategic business units.
+ Establishes, directs, and manages small business subcontracting goal development, plans, and reporting for multiple programs.
+ Works will proposal teams to interpret small business requirements, identify small businesses to support program requirements, and prepare small business plans.
+ Collaborates with Supply Chain to ensure appropriate identification, qualification, and inclusion of small business suppliers.
+ Understands Federal Acquisition Regulations and other customer requirements related to small business laws, regulations and company policies and procedures.
+ Supports compliance reviews from the U.S. Government, internal audit and other oversight agencies as required.
+ Acts as an advocate for small businesses.
+ Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance.
+ Maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure that established targets are met.
+ Identifies and addresses project problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.
+ Facilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
+ Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
+ Regularly interacts and interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
+ 3+ years prior experience as a small business liaison officer
+ 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite (excel, PPT, word)

**Remote:** Employees who are working in Remote roles* will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
_*This position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role_
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
