Small Animal Rotating Internship - Hunt Valley, MD Pet+ER

Embark on a journey with Ethos, where we redefine the rotating internship with our first-of-its-kind, 12-month competency-based curriculum. Tailored for candidates aspiring to transition into residency training or pursue high-end ER careers, our program builds upon the success of the ER Immerse course. 


Pet+ER's 1-year ECC-focused rotating internship program is appropriate for new graduates considering a staff ER position or future residency. Or general practitioners, urgent care, and ER doctors looking to refine their skills, explore critical care, and collaborate in specialty care. 

 

Internship Highlights

2 hours of weekly seminars/ week mid- September- June comprised of text chapter review, journal club, Benchmark (case-based ECC questions) reviewed monthly, specialties seminars/ discussions- EKG review, neurology, internal medicine, and surgery (wound management). Access to a comprehensive online didactic curriculum through VetBloom Monthly intern lead M&M presentations Rotations through Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology. Additional rotations can be made for Dental, Ophthalmology, and Physical Therapy. Rotations can be catered to each individual’s goals. Wet lab reviewing ER procedures: enucleation, thoracostomy tube placement, tracheostomy, open chest CPR, coccygeal blocks Quarterly 1-1 mentorship meetings with case reviewSalary $60,000
