Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Assignment: Maternity Leave Coverage School Year: Mid-January – June Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Part-Time (with potential for Full-Time) School Location: Chicago, IL 60632 Grade Level: Elementary-aged students About the Position: This Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide maternity leave coverage for the remainder of the school year. This is a supportive and collaborative school environment where the SLPA will work closely with the supervising SLP to serve a caseload of approximately 40 students. The position is part-time (3–4 days per week) with the option to expand to full-time for candidates seeking a full schedule. While the official assignment begins in February, the school would prefer a mid-January start for onboarding and transition.
