Salary: $1470 / Week Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Location: Duarte, CA Start Date: September 24, 2025 (or ASAP) Schedule: 35–40 hours/week Pay Rate: $38–$45/hr Setting: In-person, school-based (TK–8th and High School) Caseload: Assisting a virtual SLP with a caseload of 40 students (27 under case management) Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support a virtual SLP in delivering high-quality speech and language services to students across multiple grade levels. This is a full-time, in-person role within a supportive school environment. Responsibilities: + Assist the supervising SLP in implementing treatment plans and therapy sessions. + Support documentation and progress tracking in accordance with the plan of care. + Collaborate with educators and staff to support student communication goals. + Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and professional standards. Minimum Requirements: + Associate’s degree from an SLPA program or a bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology, communication disorders, or a related field with required coursework. + Completion of at least 100 hours of supervised clinical fieldwork. + Current SLPA certification or licensure in the state of California. + Pediatric experience preferred. + Must be at least 18 years of age. + TB test, health certificate, and compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements. + Successful completion of the ASHA Assistants Certification Exam.
