**Job Title: Push/Pull Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Push/Pull Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of slip sheet forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within our facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure the integrity of our shipments and support our operations effectively. **Responsibilities** + Inspect and operate slip sheet forklifts to ensure safety and functionality. + Safely load and unload trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and adherence to shipping instructions. + Understand and apply storage and rotation procedures. + Identify and transport materials to various locations, including machines, loading docks, and storage areas. + Ensure prompt delivery of required items by understanding machine loading capacity and schedules. + Use protective materials and strapping equipment to secure loads and dispose of waste materials properly. + Report any issues with materials or transportation to the supervisor. + Manage and organize drums, skids, pallets, and other supplies in designated areas. + Service equipment as needed and report mechanical or electrical issues to the supervisor. + Operate forklift safely to move materials within the facility. + Identify, label, and record material locations to maintain accurate inventory. + Prepare finished products for shipment by locating, packing, and loading them. **Essential Skills** + Experience with slip sheet forklifts is mandatory. + Ability to operate regular sit-down forklifts. + Experience in loading, unloading, palletizing, and cross-docking. + Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management. + Clean driver's license. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bilingual skills are preferred. + Experience in production and material-handling equipment. + Prior warehouse experience with slip sheet attachments. **Why Work Here?** We offer significant opportunities for vertical growth within the company, as evidenced by team members who have advanced from temporary positions. We operate on a Monday to Friday schedule with shifts from 7 AM to 4 PM, 8 AM to 5 PM, and 9 AM to 6 PM. This position pays $17/hr and is WEEKLY pay **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Miami, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
