CHI St Alexius is looking for a Full Time Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Sleep Lab Team!

What You'll Do:
As our Sleep Lab Respiratory Technologist, you'll be instrumental in the day-to-day operations of our Sleep Center.
Expert Patient Care & Diagnostics:
Comprehensive Patient Assessment: Collect and analyze patient information to identify specific needs, determine testing parameters, and provide age-appropriate care.Testing Preparation & Execution: Prepare and calibrate equipment, perform PAP mask fittings, and meticulously follow sleep center protocols for various polysomnographic studies (MSLT, MWT, diagnostics, split-night, PAP titrations).Data Acquisition & Intervention: Acquire high-quality polysomnographic data, monitor test quality, document observations, and implement appropriate interventions for patient safety and therapeutic needs (CPAP, Bilevel, oxygen).Scoring & Reporting: Accurately score sleep/wake stages and clinical events according to established policies, generate precise reports, and contact physicians for observed patient emergencies.Advanced Procedures: Oversee and perform difficult and unusual procedures and therapeutic interventions.Join a team where your expertise will make a real difference in the lives of our patients!
