Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fabrication Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for fabricating and assembling wood and plastic components according to blueprints, quality standards, and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with woodworking equipment, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work ordersSelect, prepare, machine, and assemble materials to specified dimensionsOperate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely (saws, routers, planers, sanders, etc.)Verify measurements and ensure proper fit and qualityAssemble components using fasteners and adhesives as requiredMaintain compliance with company quality, safety, and environmental standardsEducation: High School
High school diploma or GEDExperience: 24 months
2–3 years of related experience preferredAbility to read blueprints and follow detailed instructionsExperience using woodworking equipment and production machinery Strong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsRelated Experience: Skilled craft worker, Production, General Laborer
