In this role, you'll recruit skilled trades talent and develop client partnerships, leveraging a proven sales process to build your own book of business.
This role is based in the Rockford market with regular in-office presence and client site visits. Flexibility exists in how you structure your day, but success requires being active and visible in your market.

Conduct proactive outreach to plant leaders, maintenance managers, and operations leadership through cold outreach, in-person visits, referrals, and networkingDevelop a pipeline of skilled trades talent through targeted sourcing activities, including job boards, social media, referrals, networking events, and community outreachProvide consultative services to clients to help them solve their talent gaps and build long-term relationshipsBecome an expert in local manufacturing environments and skilled trades roles to act as a trusted advisor to clients on hiring, pay trends, and workforce planningCoordinate interviews, offers, and onboarding while guiding both clients and candidates through decision-makingContribute to team goals, sharing insights and strategies that improve overall candidate experience and client satisfactionMaintain accurate records in our internal systems, tracking communication and activities with clients and candidatesWhat we’re looking for
2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within skilled trades or manufacturing environments; candidates with a combination of recruiting and B2B sales experience will also be consideredBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceAuthorization to work in the United States without sponsorshipComfortable with cold outreach to build relationships with both employers and candidatesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence clients and candidates effectivelyResourceful, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentMotivated self-starter with a competitive and enthusiastic attitudeCompensation & benefits
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, you will be eligible for an incentive program based on successful placements with clients, with earning potential tied to your performance. Incentive earnings are variable and based on placement targets, with additional details shared during the interview process.
