We are seeking a hands-on Skilled Trades Recruiter who excels in a fast-paced, people-driven environment. This role requires a deep understanding of recruiting electricians, foremen, and construction leadership in practical settings. The ideal candidate is a full-cycle recruiter with proven experience in hiring skilled trades talent, working closely with hiring managers, and building trust with trade professionals. You will be responsible for developing recruiting processes, supporting onboarding, tracking recruiting metrics, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our Reno office. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
ResponsibilitiesOwn the recruiting process from sourcing to offer.Partner confidently with hiring managers and field leaders.Develop recruiting processes and build standard operating procedures and workflows.Support onboarding and ensure new hire readiness.Track and report recruiting metrics to improve performance.Manage candidates and requisitions using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).Evaluate technical and cultural fit through interviewing and screening.Promote roles and campaigns using social media and job advertising.Build trust with trades talent and maintain solid working relationships.Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience in skilled trades or construction recruiting.Proven ability in full-cycle recruiting and proactive talent identification.Experience in candidate sourcing and building strong relationships.Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and human resource information systems (HRIS).Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Human Resources, or a similar field preferred.Knowledge of the electrical construction industry is a plus.Experience with office operations or facilities coordination.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online job boards.Social media expertise, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.Experience with HRIS systems such as Paycom is a major plus.Work EnvironmentThis is an in-office role based in Reno, NV, where you will be embedded with the team.
