Our client, an industrial leader, is seeking a Skilled Production Assembler to join their team. As a Skilled Production Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Skilled Production Assembler
**Location:** Elkhart, IN
**Pay Range:** $20.00/hour Monday – Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM ( **Overtime may be required** )
**What's the Job?**
+ Assemble axles using techniques such as feeding, stripping, hand twisting, crimping, and heat shrinking wires.
+ Use impact wrenches to install brakes and hubs.
+ Torque nuts, clip wires, and install springs and hardware.
+ Test brake systems and spindle nut runners.
+ Stack, band, and prepare axles for shipment.
**What's Needed?**
+ Previous manufacturing experience is required.
+ High school diploma or GED preferred.
+ Experience with tools such as impact wrenches, torque setters, and grease guns.
+ Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the shift.
+ Dependable and motivated team player.
