Training Plan: Talent Acquisition Recruitment with Pediatric Associates
Course Goals: After each period of training, you will be assessed on understanding of the curriculum for the designated training period. Training methods will primarily be via Microsoft Teams with a Talent Acquisition team member. This course will cover key principles of the corporate office structure, history, mission, vision, and full-cycle talent acquisition principles at Pediatric Associates. You will be immersed in a variety of training opportunities during the course to gain functional knowledge of recruiting and sourcing. You will be given thorough training, mentoring, and networking opportunities within Pediatric Associates to familiarize yourself with different positions and roles within the organization.
Daily Schedule: 40 hrs/week (hours/schedule may be altered outside of window as required)
0800 - Logon to meet with mentor(s) 1000 - 15-min break 1230 - Lunch 1 hr 1430 - 15-min break 1700 - End of dayWeek 1 – Orientation
Goal 1: You will fully understand your role in the company and familiarize with responsibilities as well as what is expected in performance and the industry.
Explain how Pediatric Associates operate in broad detail. Meet staff and mentors. Clearly define Pediatric Associates culture and expectations. Familiarization with terms, objectives, “day in the life of Talent Acquisition”, Applicant Tracking Software (ATS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Study provided fact sheets, materials, data spreadsheets. Get questions answered.Weeks 2-12 –Talent Acquisition Education
Goal: Begins to form a solid foundation that allows you to feel a basic level of confidence in Talent Acquisitions and related skills. During this block you will be able to showcase these skills without assistance from professional technicians. You will demonstrate proficiency with the computer systems needed for the role and will have completed the learning modules.
Manages full-cycle recruitment from posting the requisition through hiring and onboarding the selected candidate by following all internal processes such as Applicant Tracking System documentation and reporting/tracking talent acquisition metrics. Develops and builds rapport with internal clients and hiring managers. SkillBridge Training Plan Gains understanding of hiring needs, business, services, and organization culture. Gains knowledge of the job qualifications, experience, and competencies for successful candidates. Follows through on service level agreements and ensures effective and professional candidate and hiring manager experience. Develops and executes creative recruitment strategies to identify top talent for positions and achieve desired KPIs and client satisfaction. Collaborates with compensation department and/or department leaders to determine and provide context to offers. Provides immediate guidance for new employees, explains company policies and expectations, procedures, and benefits, contacts. Conduct internal hiring transactions following internal policies and guidelines. Coordinates with current and future managers on effective transition dates and document changes. Participates in employer spotlight events, job fairs and other company information sessions. Implements programs to improve recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reduce turnover such as Hearing & Vision, Extern placement, Job fairs, etc. Communicates recruitment metrics including extern placement, sourcing, employment status, KPIs, and other ad-hoc measurements. Goal: You at this point will be able to function independently with little assistance from Mentor/Coach. You should be embraced in the company culture, and fully understand what the role is. In this week, you will find out if you will be offered a full-time opportunity with Pediatric Associates as an employee in this role or other roles in the organization.
Under the observation of Mentor/Coach will interact with clients on his own. Will be able to explain the full life cycle of Talent Acquisition as it relates to Pediatric Associates. Will demonstrate the ability to successfully source and be able to identify the various ways this is done. Demonstrate how to overcome drawbacks, misunderstandings, and skepticism in calls. Be able to communicate effectively and have forged professional relationships with co-workers. Get any various questions answered.
