The VHE PVT Six Sigma Manager plays a critical role in achieving this by leading the Six Sigma team in problem solving. In this Six Sigma role, you will lead a team of specialists in root cause problem solution of highly technical business critical issues.  This leadership position is central to fostering a culture of proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement within our Product Development and Quality teams.

You'll have...

Bachelors Degree in Engineering 8+ years of experience in quality, product development & manufacturing Certified Six Sigma Blackbelt/Master Black Belt with a proven track record in problem solving of highly technical issues for hardware system & component level as well as in controls and software. Strong technical acumen and comprehensive cross-vehicle knowledge. Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop problem-solving skills in others. Proven experience in systemic root cause identification and recurrence prevention methodologies. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across diverse functional teams (e.g., Product Development, Manufacturing, Design, Supplier Technical Assistance).

Master's degree in Engineering Proven track record of statistical based strategic problem solving for highly technical issues in an automotive environment. Experience with Gembas and lean manufacturing principles. Knowledge of problem solving strategies.

In this position...

Six Sigma Governance & Development: Lead the training, development, and implementation of Six Sigma Methodologies across the Vehicle Hardware Engineering skill teams. Technical Leadership & Coaching: Leverage functional acumen and extensive cross-vehicle knowledge to drive systemic root cause identification and prevent recurrence of quality issues. Provide hands-on technical coaching, to cultivate stronger problem-solving capabilities across the organization. Cross-Functional Integration: Work closely with VHE and PD teams to properly analyze critical issues for true root cause identification.  Maintain close ties with functional teams, ensuring that prioritization of quality initiatives is heavily influenced by functional needs and strategic objectives.

Upskilling Strategy & Team Building: Develop and implement a comprehensive upskilling strategy focused on training and development to enhance problem-solving capabilities within the quality organization. Actively contribute to building and fostering a high-performing team. Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with Functional Director, providing input on critical quality issues and acting as a key partner to their organizations.
