**Securitas Canada is currently seeking a Full Time Temp Security supervisor for our Construction client in Woodbridge, Ontario. If you thrive in team environments and have a great attitude, have a passion for the security of people and property, this may be the role for you.** **Position:** Security Supervisor **Location:** Woodbridge, Ontario **Shift:** 6am to 2pm (Mon-Fri) **SUMMARY** Maintains security and safety of our clients and their property in assigned data center. Observes and reports on activities and incidents. Works in a security team in various environments. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** The functions listed describe the business purpose of this job. The employee might not be required to perform all the functions listed below. + Interact effectively across diverse cultures as well as different levels of client teams. + Cover all shifts of a Security Guards in the event of a book off or no show. + Perform foot patrols externally and internally. + Monitor traffic flow at checkpoints and recommend staffing adjustments as needed. + Follow post orders and escalation procedures. + Collect shift activity reports and review for errors, accuracy, or omissions. + Ensure that all posts are properly staffed. + Required to know, follow safe work practices and share with other staff how to work safely. + Be aware of company policies and procedures related to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and health and safety rules and regulations. + Notify the Site or District Manager when a site has unsafe working conditions. + Ensure all functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. + In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from their manager or authorized company representatives. + Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business needs. **MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:** + A minimum of 2 years of security supervisor experience. + Must have excellent communication skills. + Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private). + Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. + Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
