This role involves supervising security officers, maintaining compliance with company and client policies, and serving as the primary point of contact for client relations and incident response. Duties & Responsibilities: • Security Patrol & Monitoring o Conduct regular walking patrols to ensure safety and identify security concerns o Monitor facility access points and verify credentials of individuals o Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents using established protocols • Security Operations & Compliance o Enforce security procedures as outlined in Security Post Instructions o Lock/unlock doors, activate/deactivate security systems, and monitor surveillance feeds o Inform and ensure compliance with SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking violations) • Reporting & Communication o Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations o Communicate effectively with workforce, clients, and management o Present a professional appearance in a clean and pressed uniform Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes • Team Oversight & Support o Provide guidance and support to junior officers o Ensure adherence to security protocols and customer service standards o Assist in scheduling and shift coverage as needed • Client & Incident Management o Act as point of contact for client concerns and escalations o Review incident reports and ensure proper documentation o Support training and onboarding of new security personnel Minimum Qualifications: • The State of Alabama requires that you must have or obtain and maintain a valid Security Officer/Guard License issued by the ASRB when providing any regulated activities in the State of Alabama • This role has the following special qualifications: o Must be 21 years of age or older o Must pass Armed training and possess a valid pistol permit Required Skills & Abilities: • Minimum Required Skills & Abilities: o Ability to function well in a high-paced and potentially stressful work environment o Strong written, electronic, and oral communication skills o Self-motivated with strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills o Ability to manage multiple projects and/or priorities simultaneously o Ability to remain calm and act effectively in critical situations o Comfortable with new technology • Preferred Skills & Abilities: o 3+ years Armed Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience o 1+ years Supervisory and Customer Service experience Minimum Physical Requirements : · Stand at least 1 hour without support or a break · Sit at least 1 hour without a break · Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping · Climb a minimum of 20 common commercial facility stairs without stopping Security Engineers, Inc.
