Job Title: Construction Superintendent
Job Description

The Construction Superintendent will oversee daily operations for construction activities, ensuring that scheduling, logistics, and coordination of trades are executed efficiently. This role is integral to enforcing safety standards and ensuring compliance with OSHA and PANYNJ protocols while supporting quality control efforts to ensure that all work aligns with contract documents and design specifications.

ResponsibilitiesManage daily operations for construction activities, including scheduling, logistics, and coordination of trades.Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and PANYNJ protocols.Support quality control efforts and ensure work aligns with contract documents and design specifications.Conduct site inspections, document progress, and communicate updates to project management.Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, inspectors, and client representatives to resolve field issues.Maintain documentation including daily reports, manpower logs, and safety documentation.Assist with punch list completion, closeout activities, and turnover processes.Essential SkillsMinimum 5 years of construction site experience.5 years as a Superintendent.Experience with public infrastructure projects.Heavy civil experience, particularly in bridges, roadway, and highways.OSHA 30 certification.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsHeavy civil and aviation experience is a must.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.Strong communication and leadership skills with an ability to coordinate field teams and subcontractors.Work Environment

The work environment is based at JFK Terminal, where the Construction Superintendent will be actively involved in managing large-scale infrastructure projects. The role requires interaction with various technologies and platforms, and adherence to a professional dress code is expected.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
